Which Macs can run Vozly?
Vozly is built for macOS 14 Sonoma and later. Apple silicon is recommended for the smoothest local transcription experience.
Does it work outside the Vozly window?
Yes. Vozly inserts text into the focused field in the Mac app where you are already writing.
Does my speech leave my Mac?
Local Whisper transcription is the default. Free usage is metered by aggregate word count, not by saving transcripts. Optional AI cleanup may use a configured cloud service only when you enable that feature.
What happens when I use my free words?
Free includes 2,500 words per week on Mac. Vozly warns you as you approach the limit, then asks you to upgrade to Pro for unlimited dictation until the weekly allowance resets.
What happens if Vozly cannot paste?
Vozly copies the result to your clipboard and keeps the latest dictation available for recovery.
How do upgrades and cancellation work?
Sign in to Vozly, choose Pro in Plans & Billing, and complete payment on Stripe. The same screen opens Stripe’s secure customer portal whenever you want to update a card, view invoices, or cancel. Your Google account identifies you; Google does not manage the charge.
Is the beta available now?
Yes. The tester build is available to download now. It is not yet Apple-notarized, so macOS may ask you to approve it once in Privacy & Security.
